Research interests

Danielle Taylor has extensive experience in the application of GIS and has worked in both Australia and the United States . Since joining the Centre in 1998, she has been involved with many of the GIS consultancies the centre has undertaken, including having a major role in the development of the Accessibility/Remoteness Index of Australia (ARIA). In 2002 Danielle completed a Masters of Spatial Information Science through GISCA and is currently a PhD candidate. Her research interests are focused on the application of geographical information systems to assist service planning, health and epidemiological research.
