In addition to being the Institute's inaugural Research Director, Graeme Hugo is Federation Fellow, Professor of the Discipline of Geographical and Environmental Studies and Director of the National Centre for Social Applications of Geographical Information Systems at the University of Adelaide. He is the author of over two hundred books, articles in scholarly journals and chapters in books, as well as a large number of conference papers and reports. In 2002 he secured a $1.125 million ARC Federation Fellowship over five years for his research project, "The new paradigm of international migration to and from Australia: dimensions, causes and implications". |

John Glover is director of the Public Health Information Development Unit at the University of Adelaide . His work over the past two decades is at the forefront in Australia in presenting data to monitor and describe social inequality and its impact on the health of population groups. His research interests include: Social inequalities, health disparities and health equity at a local/community level to inform government and communities; Health services research; and Development and presentation of information to inform health and social policy. |
