The City of Marion has been developing an integrated suite of Community Sustainability Indicators, in collaboration with Swinburne University. The suite of indicators provided here does not represent the full suite of indicators being developed by the City of Marion and are used here as an example only.

The development of Marion's indicators has been a rigourous process designed to support the measurement of progress towards the goal of creating a Sustainable Marion as part of the City of Marion's Strategic Plan.
